1. If you are going with a dress or skirt, always wear a pair SAFETY SHORTS underneath. Keep that shorts as thin as possible, because you don’t want to make their lines visible under your body-hugged dress. This tip is super helpful when you get drunk dancing crazily without noticing that you bottoms have been badly revealed to dozen of eyes at least. So, prepare yourself to avoid embarrassment.
  2. Relating to that underneath pair of shorts, although it is just a safety plan and can hardly be showed, but there is no limitation for you to play some CREATIVITY with it. Go pick a good color that match with your clothes that really shows your sense of fashion. When the time comes, in stead of embarrassment you may get a secret admiration from someone who accidentally see that (I laugh a bit). For example, underneath my this denim shirt dress, I would wear a salmon pink pair of shorts.

  1. Wear a bag with PROPER ZIP. And always tie it onto your body. You won’t want to stop having fun half-way looking for your phone or wallet which is now with somebody else you can never know. A medium cross-body bag is best. Cross-body because it can keep your hands free all the time. And medium because it won’t hide much of your amazing outfit. And again, don’t ever forget a proper zip I mentioned.
  2. What to keep in your clubbing bag? For me, these things will keep me safe and pretty: red lipstick, strong scented perfume (I even use a men’s one), your regular press powder, blusher and brush, wallet, phone (if not necessary you should put your phone home)

  • Body-con dress: Either with sleeve or no sleeve is OK. It’s tight so you can show off all the curves, sleeveless can be unnecessary sometimes.
  • (Set) Croptop + pencil skirt/highwaisted shorts: A reveal of belly button would be cool.
  • Camisole/off-shoulder top + mini-skirt/shorts: This is more comfortable than the set above. And looks more both feminine and effortless.
  • Short croptop + highwaisted denim pants: Keep the croptop short at the breast line.
  • Heels:  I would never ever recommend to wear pumps into clubs. Since they’re way too formal. Better keep it at the office. Some cooler options: High heel sandals, gladiator heels or sandals, boots (boots are too cool), flat sandal (perfect at beach clubs).img_2581img_2580

That’s it. Hope you guys enjoy.

Gonna try out the egg yolk tip my friend Andy gave me the other day to see how its gonna work. After that maybe I will have another challenge called oneweektips. Oh no, cannot be. One week challenge – Day 5

Hi guys

Its my day 5 of my one week photo blogging challenge (OOTD). Today is jumpsuit and offshoulder top. Well, off shoulder top is still so hot till even now.

I shot these photos late afternoon today cos I had to find out how to copy photos from my iPhone to laptop. Hmm. Im defenitely no a tech person at all. Took me 2-3 hours to sink in that until my friend Andy the Savior randomly came online and rescued. What a good fate! Lovely life!

Hope you guys enjoy the photos. Ah, I made a short upclose video of my makeup as well. I tried new tips of makeup recently and found it works. These days are my best makeup days actually. The looks I created deliberately to be soft, not too much, I think it would be great for a dating session, since I know lots of men dont like much makeup on their partner.

My challenge

Hi guys

I have to confess that im a lazy girl at heart. I was really excited with every kinds of new projects at first and very often, I ended up dropping them halfway. I hate that. So I decided to have some mini-er projects for myself and force me to do every day. I learn that I shouldnot go with those projects which I can forsee Im not going to handle very well. I guess this one gonna be a good and easy to handle one for me: One-week photo blogging challenge. Ive done this for 3 days. Really wanna keep it. Hope you guys enjoy.

Trích nguồn từ – 5 bộ phim mà các tín đồ thời trang nên xem

Just like my list of 5 books every fashion girls should read, I’ve come up with a list of the 5 films every fashion girl should watch. Some are new, some are classics, but each one has an amazing story and are total inspirations! So whether you’re having a movie night at home with friends, or you need to kill some time on a long flight or road trip, I’ve got the perfect films for you!

1. The Intern

the-intern“You’re never wrong to do the right thing.”

Anne Hathaway stars as Jules Ostin the founder and president of “About The Fit” which is an online clothing site based in Brooklyn, New York. Not only is Jules in charge of 220 employees, but she has her own family at home. She thinks she can have it all, but the stress from investors and her husband may be overcoming her. When her company hires the 70-year-old intern Ben Whittaker, played by Robert De Niro, to assist Jules in the office, he helps Jules keep her center and calm and becomes a father-figure to the other employees in the office. This is a great film about following your passion and balancing a career and family!

2. The September Issue

“Always keep your eyes open. Keep watching because whatever you see can inspire you.”

This documentary, filmed in 2009, goes behind the scenes of American Vogue Magazine’s production of the 2007 September Issue. In the fashion industry, September is the start of a new year on the calendar. The film follows Vogue Editor and Chief Anna Winter and Creative Director at large Grace Coddington as photo shoots are planned, models are booked, and cuts are made. From inception to completion The September Issue really gives you an inside look at the hard work and dedication that is put into one of the biggest fashion magazines in the world.

3. Advanced Style

“I think it’s fun to dress up. It’s an exercise in creativity and it makes you feel better.”

Ari Seth Cohen, street-style photographer, and Lina Plioplyte, director, feature seven incredible women in the film Advance Style. New York City holds many of the world’s most fashionable men and women but not all of them are as young as you think. These seven women are all over 60 and obsessed with all things fashion. This film truly shows us that we get better with age! (Plus you can watch this on Netflix!)

4. Breakfast At Tiffany’s

breakfast-at-tiffanys-poster“Anyone who ever gave you confidence, you owe them a lot.”

Probably one of the most favorited films of all time, Oscar-winning Breakfast At Tiffany’s stars the beautiful and iconic Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly. Holly, the beautifully dressed society girl, falls for a young man Paul Varjak (George Peppard) who has moved into her NYC apartment building. The young and eccentric couple enjoy the New York scene while romance finds its way in. Add in some amazing jewelry, incredible hats, a cat named Cat, and you’ve got one of the most iconic films of all time.

5. Dior and I

“I want it to be dynamic, because I find women very dynamic.”

This is the inside story of Raf Simmons and his new position as Creative Director of Christian Dior fashion house. This film follows the 8 weeks Simmons had to create his entire (and first) collection for the House of Dior. With gorgeous dresses and an unprecedented look at the inner workings of one of the biggest names in fashion, Dior and I is a must see!

There you have it! My list of 5 films every fashion girl should watch. Did your favorite make the list? Do you have any films to add? Let me know in the comments below! Happy Tuesday everyone!

Creative Ways to Wear Bright Colors (Reblogging)

I found this fashion trick is helpful since I am a big fan of vivid colors. I can hardly stand a set of neutral or monotone wardrobe lol. If any of you guys like me, keep scrolling down :).

While basic black and white will always be a timeless wardrobe staple, adding in a few bright colors can spice up your wardrobe and add interest to your look. If you’re looking for creative ways to wear bright colors, keep on reading to scoop some stylish tricks.

If you don’t normally wear a lot of colors, start small with colorful accessories and work your way up. It’s better to start small with one colorful piece and build from there rather than piling up bright accents you’re uncomfortable with. Go for neon shoes and neon handbag from hot pinks, yellows, lime greens, tangerines and such. The great thing about bright shoes and handbag is that they jazz up even the most boring outfit, and they always stand out in a crowd. Just make sure the shade blends well with the rest of your wardrobe. If you may, go for a colorful jewelry perhaps a chunky necklace or bright cocktail ring and wear it with more muted and simpler ensembles. Bright belts and scarves are also a fun way to enliven your look, and they’re very on-trend as well.

1.-pink-accessories-with-neutral-outfit1.-yellow-accessories-with-denimColorful tops are one of the easiest ways to experiment with color as they’re inexpensive but creative. You may wear a neon blouse with geometric pants or a neon sweater with boyfriend jeans. When paired with denim, a colorful top has met its perfect match. Just choose colors that work well with your skin and hair. Incorporate one or two of those colors into your wardrobe, and build from there.

Styling a brightly colored top seems to be easier than pulling off skirts in the same color, although the rules are just reversed. Also, the intense color of colored jeans may seem off-putting, but it’s all about the balance and tricks. Black, white, and other neutrals are easy to put together with your bright colored jeans or skirts that you may go for. Also, bright colors like pink, yellow, peach, plum, red goes best with gray while olive green, pumpkin orange, mint green, and baby blue goes well with brown.

3.-neon-skirt-with-collared-top3.-hot-pink-skirt-with-black-topJumpsuits, dresses, and coats may seem overwhelming in bright shades. So, dress them down with a cardigan or blazer in lighter hues or wear a muted piece with them. A yellow dress goes well with brown accessories while a hot pink jumpsuit goes well with a gray coat. Just have fun to blend colors that you love.

If you’re totally clueless when it comes to putting colors together, find a colorful piece like a dress, jumpsuit, skirt, or blouse and let it choose your color palette for you. Colorful prints are actually easier to wear than another solid color, since the colors in they are broken up in small pieces and usually set against a neutral background. Earth tone prints are perfect with solid earth tones shades like gold, rust, forest green, army green, and chocolate brown while black-and-white prints are terrific with primary and secondary hues like red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet.

Be creative in wearing bright colors to express your personality and add some fun to your look. Even if you don’t match perfectly, at the end of the day, it’s just fashion. So have fun experimenting and enjoy yourself.
